Edit a profile
Open a profile's editor to change its proxy, fingerprint, time zone, cookies or extensions, or make quick edits right in the list.

Every setting a profile has lives in its editor. The name, notes, folder, tags and proxy can also be changed straight from the profile list, without opening the editor.
Team members
If a teammate shared profiles with you at Can run, you can open those profiles but not change them. Ask the workspace owner for Can edit if you need to. See What members can see and do.
✏️ Open the editor#
- In the left sidebar, click All profiles.
- On the profile's row, click ⋯ at the far right.
- Click Edit.
Clicking a profile's name doesn't open the editor. It lets you rename the profile (see below).

The Profile summary panel on the right shows what sites will see: the browser, user agent, screen, time zone, graphics card, CPU threads, memory and more.

💾 Save or throw away your changes#
- Click Save changes in the top-right corner. You'll see "Profile saved", and you're back in the list.
- Click Back to leave without saving. If you changed something, LoginDeck asks Discard changes? first. Click Discard to throw the changes away.
If the profile is running, your changes apply the next time it opens. Stop it and run it again to use them now.
🧬 Changing the fingerprint#
- Changing the Operating system or Language rebuilds the fingerprint to match, keeping it as close to the old machine as it can.
- New fingerprint gives the profile a completely different machine (you'll see "New machine generated"). Click Save changes to keep it.
A new fingerprint is a new computer
To a site you're already logged in to, the profile will look like a different computer. Change the fingerprint before you use a profile, not after an account is settled in it.
You can't type in a user agent, screen size, CPU or memory directly. They're generated with the rest of the machine so they always agree with each other. The user agent follows the operating system and the Browser version.
⚡ Quick edits without the editor#

| Folder | Click the Folder cell and pick a folder. |
| Tags | Click the Tags cell and tick tags, or click a tag's × to remove it. |
| Proxy | Click the name in the Proxy & Location cell and pick No proxy, a saved proxy, a one-off URL or a proxy device. |

ℹ️ Good to know#
- The Fingerprint check button at the top of the editor compares what the browser really reports with what the profile claims. If you have unsaved changes, it asks you to save first, because the check runs the saved profile. See Check a profile's fingerprint.
- Your plan never stops you editing a profile, even one that's locked.
- Names can be up to 80 characters.
