Import a list of proxies

Paste a whole list, one proxy per line, in any format a provider prints. Lines that can't be read come back with the reason.

When a provider hands you forty lines, paste all forty at once.

📋 Import a list#

  1. In the left sidebar, click Proxies.
  2. Click Import in the page bar.
  3. Paste your list into the box, one proxy per line.
  4. Click Import proxies.

Every newly added proxy is then checked automatically, one after another, with a progress bar at the top of the page. Press Stop to end the run — the check in flight finishes and nothing new starts.

📝 What a line can look like#

Any of these, with or without a scheme. No scheme at the front means HTTP.

  • Add :name at the end of any line to name that proxy.
  • Put a Change IP link last, in square brackets.
  • Blank lines are ignored, and so are lines starting with #, so you can keep comments in your list.
  • A login can be an email address: host:port:bob@gmail.com:pw reads correctly.

🔎 Reading the result#

The toast summarises the run: how many were added, how many were already saved, and how many lines were not understood.

If any line failed, the Import sheet reopens with your list still in it and a comment above each bad line, for example:

# line 4: "203.0.113.13" has no port
203.0.113.13

Fix those lines and press Import proxies again. The comment lines are ignored on the way back in, and the proxies that already imported are skipped as duplicates, so you cannot import anything twice by accident.

Re-importing does not update passwords

A line counts as already saved when its type, host, port and login match one you have — the password is not part of that comparison. So re-importing a list whose passwords have changed silently skips every line. Edit those proxies by hand, or delete them first.

ℹ️ Good to know#

  • The Import link inside the Add proxy dialog opens the same sheet.
  • Checks run one at a time on purpose: a burst of simultaneous requests through a residential plan is its own kind of pattern.
  • Nothing here assigns proxies to profiles. Do that next: Give a profile a proxy.
  • There is no per-plan limit on saved proxies.
