🏷️Tags and notes

Tags are short labels such as Ads, Needs 2FA or Ready. A profile can have several, and every tag becomes a tab above the profile list, so one click shows just those profiles. Notes are free text on a profile, such as what the account is for or when you last checked it.

Use a folder for the one big group a profile belongs to, and tags for everything else.

🏷️ Create a tag#

1. Above the profile list, at the end of the row of tabs, click + Tag.
2. Type a Name, for example Google Ads.
3. Click Create. The new tag appears as a tab.

You can also type new tags straight into the Tags box in the profile editor (separate them with commas), or pick + New tag… from a row's Tags cell.

➕ Add tags to profiles#

• One profile. Click the Tags cell on its row (or the small +) and tick the tags you want.
• Drag. Drag a row, or several ticked rows, onto a tag's tab. You'll see "Tagged 3 as Ready". Tags the profiles already had are kept.
• Many profiles. Tick the rows, then click Tags in the bar at the bottom. See Change many profiles at once.
• In the editor. On the Overview tab, click a tag under Tags to switch it on or off, or type new ones in the box.

To take a tag off one profile, click the × on the tag in its row.

🔎 Filter by tag#

• Click a tag's tab to show only the profiles with that tag. Click All tags to see everything again.
• Clicking the tag on a profile's row filters by it too.
• To show two or more tags together, right-click another tab (or click its ⋯) and choose Combine tag (show together). The list shows profiles that have any of the combined tags.
• Tag filters work inside the selected folder, so you can pick a folder and a tag together.

To change the order of the tabs, drag them. The order is saved on this computer.

🎨 Colour a tag#

Right-click a tag's tab (or click its ⋯, or right-click the tag on a row) and pick a colour under Tag colour: None, Red, Orange, Amber, Green, Teal, Blue, Purple or Pink. Colours sync to your other computers.

✏️ Rename or delete a tag#

From the same menu:

• Rename… renames the tag on every profile that has it.
• Select all 12 in tag ticks every profile with the tag, ready for a bulk action.
• Delete tag removes the tab and takes the label off its profiles. No profile is deleted.

📝 Notes#

• In the list. Click the profile's Notes cell and type. Shift+Enter starts a new line, Enter saves and Esc cancels.
• In the editor. Use the Notes box on the Overview tab, then click Save changes.

Editing in the list takes up to 2,000 characters. The search box finds profiles by their notes, and notes sync to your other computers.

ℹ️ Good to know#

• Tag names must be different from each other. Capitals don't count, so Ads and ads clash.
• New installs start with no tags.
• If you import profiles from AdsPower, their "remark" becomes the notes. From GoLogin, notes come across as plain text.
